Would like to come again, truly enjoyed its brilliant location. Thank you very much for the really great stay for 5 nights. The rooms are good with a well stocked tea tray, a comfy bed, as example.

Well-maintained garden for guest use, Free onsite parking, Engaging breakfast conversations
Small en suite bathrooms can be a real bother for those expecting something more spacious!!! Traffic noise can make it difficult to get a good night's sleep in front-facing rooms. The hotel could certainly use a modern touch to feel fresh and inviting!!!

Very friendly welcoming owners, We were contacted beforehand to confirm booking and arrange check in which was very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the owners very attentive and pleasant. Overall very good value for money
I am only bringing up these points to help future bookings. It is in no way a complaint. My husband is tall 6' 4'' and unfortunately the ensuite shower was located under the staircase - he was not able to stand/fit in the shower cubicle so was not able to shower in the morning. Perhaps height should be ascertained at booking? The other point is that the guest house is located on a main road with bright street lights that stay on all night. The curtains in our room were of light weight material and did not block out the light - I would recommend some black out lining to help this. I, as many others I believe, like to sleep in a dark room.

Friendly and helpful owner and staff. We arrived on motorcycles and were offered secure parking before we could ask if it was available.
Nothing - we will stay again when in the area.
